Completing a chess course: another step towards developing thinking and confidence!
May 29, 2025
Another wonderful stage of our educational initiative has successfully come to an end! Our chess classes for children have officially concluded, and we are excited to reflect on this fascinating intellectual journey. Throughout the course, participants not only learned the rules of this ancient game but also developed a wide range of important skills that will benefit them in both school and life. Chess is more than just a game — it is an art of logic, strategic thinking, and deep concentration. Why is chess important for a child's development? Each lesson was both a challenge and an opportunity for children to grow. Playing chess helped them:
- Learn to focus on details
- Plan their actions several steps ahead
- Develop strategic thinking and foresight
- Make thoughtful decisions under time pressure
- Act responsibly and mindfully
These skills are crucial in shaping a confident and well-rounded personality. Thanks to chess, children not only improve their academic abilities but also learn to act with concentration, calmness, and confidence — both on the board and in life. We are proud of every participant It’s truly inspiring to see children’s growing interest in intellectual games and how eagerly and responsibly they approached every match. We sincerely thank each participant for their enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for chess! You are real thinkers, and we believe these skills will stay with you for a long time. As a token of appreciation for their participation in the project, all participants received symbolic gifts — a small but meaningful bonus for their passion and perseverance.! These are not just souvenirs — they are a little recognition of their efforts and another step toward great achievements.
